A New Start to 2012

Well 2012 is here and I am determined this year to make those cards, blog and enter a few challenges... This is going to be the year I justify the $$$ I've spent on all those lovely stamps and papers! So with that in mind I have actually made a card AHEAD of schedule! Can you believe it???? Neither can I... So here it is a combination of several Paper Smooches stamps. I just love Kim Hughes clean and simple stamps. Here it is! A birthday card for my Dad.

A little stamping, some glossy accents and just a touch of paper piecing. I know my Dad will love it!

Happy New Year Everyone... I better go get started on my card for Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge. I am determined this year!

Just a simple comment on Jodi's Blog... Stamp A Latte and I won a stamp and die.... OMG.. I am so excited.. I love to stamp and color, especially with my kiddos, but I rarely get the time and even less time to post anything.. I am just grateful for the chance to win from all those FABULOUS companys and DESIGNERS out there... Just a lot of talent to get inspired by.. Thank you!!!!

I haven't blogged in a year... Somehow life just got in the way and now I would like to start up again, but there is this photobucket thingy on my blog. How do I get that off??? Should I just start a new blog??? Any help would be appreciated...

Bellariffic Friday July 3rd

Here is my card for Bellariffic Friday July 3rd. I used Stamping Bellas Tutuface stamp. I colored her in with prisma pencils and baby oil. I used celery Shimmerz for the green parts of her tutu, ballet shoes, hair ties and sash. The dp is Nana's Nursery baby girl. I cut that out with a circle nestie and my tutu girl is cut out with square nestie and scalloped nestie. My middle layer is embossed with a cuttlebug folder. A pink bow to finish. The sentiment is also Stamping Bella.

Here is my card for Bellariffic Friday June 26th. I used Stamping Bellas Cuddly Cat Stamp. Colored her in with prisma pencils and baby oil. Cuttlebug swirls embossing folder for the back layer. I cut out my cute girl with a deckled rectangle nestie and the sentiment with the oval nestie. My dp is Imaginisce flower trails. Two Taylor's Tiny Twinkles for her hair and a red ribbon to finish it. I love this card.

Here is my card today using Tinkerbella. I colored her in using prisma pencils and baby oil. Most of the paper is from a Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients kit. I cut out my tinkerbella using a circle nestie and she is up on pop dots. I added a tiny twinkle to the flower in her hair. Her wings and flower centers on her skirt and her wand are all covered in GLAMOUR DUST. I can't say enough about how much I LOVE THIS STUFF!!! I also put a coat of Angel Wings Shimmerz on her teeth. What fairy doesn't have sparkling white teeth??? My sentiment is punched out using a nestie labels punch and stamped in versafine black onyx ink. Heat embossed with clear embossing powder. It really makes it pop. The flower also got a coat of shimmerz.

Here is my card for the hop. Also this is my first Ketto and part of my very first purchase from Stamping Bella. I totally love everything I ordered and wish I had more time to play. I chose Maisy ketto for my card today. She's just so cute!! I went very simple on my card. My patterned paper is DCWV Denim Blue Posies. I colored my little Maisy with prismacolor pencils and baby oil. I cut her out with oval nesties and the pink layer is a scalloped oval nestie. I used a little bit of black glitter pen on her hair and my most favorite part of all........ Stamping Bella's GLAMOUR DUST!!!!!!!!! This is the bestest, shiniest, most beautiful stuff I have ever seen. I wanted to glitter everything in site, but I only glittered her little wings, jewels on her crown and the flower center. I added a Taylor's Tiny Twinkle to each of her shoes. Three tiny little paper flowers from Making Memories were added above the Bella sentiment. Love all those too by the way!!!! I hope you like it.

Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #68

Here is my card for Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #68. This is a Taylor's Expressions only card. Except for the card blank everything I used on this card came from the store. The cardstock is part of the key ingredients subscription which I just LOVE!!! The stamps are the Branching Out set from the Whimsical Wishes line, also in the store. The glitter on the flower is rapture blue, also part of the Key Ingredients kit as well as the ribbon. I colored the image in with prisma pencils and baby oil. I used nesties to cut my circle, a flower punch and my scalloped edge punch for the dp. The birds and the birdhouse are all popped up on dimensionals. Thanks for looking.

An Elzybell Birthday

Here is a card I made for my friend Michelle for her birthday. I used Elzybells flower girl stamp, nesties, flower punch and some fruit punch stickles. I colored her in with my prisma colored pencils and baby oil. I added Taylor's Tiny Twinkles from Taylored Expressions to the flowers and her bow. Pretty simple card, but I think it turned out cute. Oh, I almost forgot. My Stamping Bella order is finally coming. I am so impatient. I finally got the email yesterday that it had shipped. I can hardly wait. I am on vacation next week so I hope they get here so I can color, color, color. I ordered a little of everything. I've got bellas, huggabuggs, kettos, fairies and an assortment of sentiments coming. I see that I have actually had some visitors and some comments. I will try to post a new card this week. I have just have so much going on that I haven't had time to finish anything. Images are colored though. THANK YOU to those that have stopped and left me a comment. I am very appreciative. I am still learning on this whole stamping and card thing, but it is so much fun. And goodness I have bought so much stuff, I have to use it or my hubby is gonna lock me in a closet with it till I use it all up. Hee hee hee.

Elzybells challenge # 18 Inside out

This card is for Elzybells challenge # 18 Inside out. We had to decorate the inside, outside as well as the envelope. My card is very clean and simple. I used prismacolored pencils, baby oil, and blending stumps. I also used my nesties circle and scalloped circle. The daisy ribbon is something I got out of the dollar bin at Michael's. I used several elzy stamp sets. Sheep celebrations 1 and 2 for the inside and outside, and little hellos for the inside sentiment, and I masked off one chickie for the envelope. Thanks for looking. :)

Here is my first posted card I made for the Elzybells challenge #17. It required the use of : 1 piece of ribbon, and embellishment, and a circle. This is what I came up with. The stamp set is Elzybells Just Desserts. I colored her and the desserts up with prismacolors and baby oil. Used my nesties to cut my circle and sentiment and my cuttlebug with swirls embossing folder. That is it for today. Thanks for looking.

Welcome to my little stamping place... I am completely new to this blogger world and not to good with computers, so this should be a real adventure. I love to work on crafts and this will be a good outlet for me to learn and display my little creations. With practice I should get much better. Wish me luck!!!!
